Resources
Here are some helpful tools for you, our first responders, to use.
Compass Mini Grant Program
The Compass Mini-Grant Program offers you a unique opportunity to participate in the wellness activities you already do, or try something completely different! You can compete with groups of friends and coworkers or individually, and share the events you enjoy with others.
If your activity/event is approved, it will be shared with all City of Huntington first responders. They can choose to participate if time allows. Please click on the guidelines and application for more information. Remember, the Compass Program is for and led by first responders, and we need your participation to make it a success! This is how the Mini-Grants will be funded:
- Funding for 2025 will be $3,000, split evenly between HPD and HFD
- Review committee for mini-grant applications will consist of members of the Compass Advisory Team and HPD and HFD.
- Please contact the following individuals if you have questions concerning the Mini-Grant Program:
- Captain Steve McCormick, HFD
Chief Phil Watkins, HPD
Abbi Davis, Compass Program Director
Austin Sanders, Director of Innovation
