Training and Activities

In addition to physical and mental wellness coaching, first responders are able to participate in trainings through Compass to engage with co-workers and their families. Our coaches are always working on developing new ideas for trainings based on the needs of first responders. Trainings focus on the eight pillars of wellness, which include emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial.

Activities are designed by our wellness coaches to give first responders an outlet for on and off the job stress and to rebuild connections. Chosen by the wellness coaches, previous activities Compass has held include paint and sips, family fun day, and galactic bowling. These activities focus on helping first responders reconnect and spend time with their families. Activities also focus on the eight pillars of wellness.
